The new iPhone 15 is back and the first users will have received it today. Have you already ordered that new iPhone? Or do you not need a new phone? Sometimes I immediately order the newest of the newest. But usually not, then I wait patiently until my current phone needs to be replaced. Since I was still walking around with an iPhone 12 mini, I thought it was time for a new iPhone.
And what do you choose? A normal 15, 15 plus, 15 pro or even a 15 pro max? Normally I choose the smallest model, hence the mini. I would prefer to still be with the very small Nokia 8210 phone.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro
I honestly had no idea that this was for sale again, apparently there are more people who like such a small phone. But unfortunately you can only call and text. And take photos with a 2 megapixel camera.
The latter was also the reason for me to choose the pro version this time, in addition to the fact that minis are no longer made. The camera is really fantastic according to all specifications! Especially with kids, it is extra fun to always be able to take beautiful photos. We use that a lot.
So I have the iPhone 15 Pro in blue chosen.
But the iPhone 15 is of course also a top phone. Do you need to upgrade for it? If I had an iPhone 14, I wouldn't upgrade. With a 13, I'm not sure. But if you have another 12 or older, it's probably worth it. If only because the battery deteriorates after a few years. I'm already looking forward to getting through another long day without having to charge. That was really starting to get annoying.
If you have a nice new iPhone, you should of course immediately buy a case to protect it well for daily use.
You choose one real Apple caseOf course, that is so beautiful. Of course you can also choose one transparent case from Otterbox so that you can still see the phone clearly. It just depends on what you prefer.
Apple AirPods Pro
In addition to the iPhone, there is also a small but important update to the AirPods Pro from Apple. You can charge them with USB-C. And if there's one thing I really hate, it's all the different charging wires. I would prefer to charge everything in the house with USB-C, especially now that the new iPhone also has USB-C, just like the MacBooks.
Just have to wait for a new iPad Mini with USB-C to complete the whole thing.
This means that all cords will be replaced at home, in the office and in the car. That will take some time, as long as there are still roommates with devices that have not yet switched to USB-C. Maybe we should give them a helping hand to speed up the transition...
